Read-to-You! came as an idea, as lots of ideas came to a lot of people, during a period of challenge and change.
Our adult son is an avid reader and has been all his life. But it was not until he developed a disability which affects his ability to hold a book for even the shortest time that we realised that the simple gift of reading – which we took for granted for so long – is often a gift many people cannot enjoy without assistance from others.
And so Read-to-You! was launched in December 2020 to assist and serve those in our community who would enjoy and benefit from our companionship and service.
Our team at Read-to-You! are mature, retired professionals who want to make a special contribution to those in need in our community.
